RESEARCH PROGRAMES
Being primarily a R & D Center, IMPSC places great
emphasis on the quality and depth of research activities. Therefore,
each research project must be an original piece of work which will add
to the present state knowledge, while offering the researchers an opportunity
to develop and expand their research skills and becoming experts in
their chosen area.
The concentration is firmly on applied research and
researchers are persuaded to take up application-oriented research projects
which will attempt to find practical solutions for strategic national
problems in the field of management and productivity.

RESEARCH PROCEDURE
The Research Committee is responsible for approval and supervision
of all research projects at IMPSC. Proposals for research, however,
originate from three different sources:
-
Projects proposed and carried out by our own academic staff in
their chosen areas of interest. Such studies are usually funded
from internal resources, resulting in reports and articles presented
at national and international seminars and conferences, or published
in professional journals, and occasionally, appearing as text-books.
-
Applied research projects developed upon request for client organization
on consultancy bases, for which funding will be provided through
contracts with each particular client.
-
Research carried out by masters’ and doctoral candidates under supervision of the academic staff , usually
funded privately, or through scholarships from sponsoring organizations.
